This event is organized by the Fairmeadow PTA, and staffed by parent volunteers from the Fairmeadow family.
Participants need to be Fairmeadow students in Grades 2 through 5. Attendees can be students and their siblings or friends from any grade.
No. This is a non-competitive event focused on participation, exploration, and sharing ideas.
Traditional experiments, engineering/design challenges, and innovative technology demonstrations.
To encourage collaboration, students in grades 2-4 should work in teams of of up to three participants. Grade 5 has specific participation requirements, which will be shared by your 5th grade teachers.
Yes, students should make a poster explaining their project. How the poster is decorated is completely up to the team members. PTA will distribute one free tri-fold poster to each team at no cost. An email about the poster pick up date and time will be shared in early March.
Yes, registration and approval of your project is mandatory and will be done on this website. Click here to register your team.
Simply re-register your new idea and add a comment to discard your previous idea. We will reach out if any clarification is needed.
Displays should fit on a half-table (about 3 feet wide) and must be easily transportable.
Parents are encouraged to guide and support their child's learning process, but the project ideas and execution must be primarily the student's work.
Yes! If they want to work together, siblings are welcome to form a team as long as they are Fairmeadow students in grades 2-5.
Yes! As long as all team members are in grades 2-5, they can work across grades.
